Jenkins School Staff
Heather Conway
Director
Hello, my name is Heather Conway and I am the Director here at The Jenkins School. I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Education from Millersville University and have been teaching for over 16 years. I began my career in Early Childhood Education with a small, private school called Millennium Child Development Center before spending several years with KinderCare Education, Head Start, and Chesterbrook Academy. In all of these centers I filled the roles of Preschool teacher, Pre-K teacher, Third Tier Administrator, and Assistant Principal and gained a working knowledge of Keystone STARS and NAEYC.
I currently reside in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where I have spent most of my life. I am a graduate of Manheim Township High School and Millersville University. In my free time I enjoy reading, cooking, visiting historical sites and museums, spending time with my 6-year-old nephew Evan, and watching football (Go Ravens!). I am so excited to be part of this dedicated and passionate education team!
Lynne Bertz
Art and Music
I am the Art and Music teacher at Jenkins. I am a graduate of Millersville University with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education, and I have been teaching for over 14 years. I started teaching music at Jenkins in 2010, and excitedly began teaching art in 2011. I love encouraging my students to explore self-expression through creativity and hands-on learning. During the school year I look forward to MusicFest, our all school music performance and Evening of the Arts, where we display over twenty amazing art pieces from each student.
My three children are former students of Jenkins and love helping Mom try new activities for the classroom. I also love to read, travel with my family and play stringed instruments.

I was born and raised in Lititz PA, where I still live with my husband Jeremy, and our 2
